IT Support Specialist role at Derby College based at our Roundhouse campus.
Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to provide IT technical support to the college. This role provides IT technical support to the college and offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to develop specialist knowledge while delivering excellent customer service to staff, students and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Provide responsive and professional technical support across all college sites.
* Handle first- and second-line IT support requests.
* Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
* Manage helpdesk tickets using Hornbill.
About You / Qualifications
* Proactive, customer-focused with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and IT Helpdesk functions.
* Understanding of cloud services and mobile operating systems.
* Driving licence and Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
* Ability to handle PC equipment safely.
Base pay and Benefits
Base pay: £25,399 per annum.
* 34 days holiday (inclusive of 8 bank holidays and 6 closure days where these occur).
