We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Workers interested in working in schools as Teaching Assistants. Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
2. Provide care and support to students with special educational needs or disabilities.
3. Foster independence and promote students' social and emotional growth.
4. Support students with personal care tasks, if required.
5. Facilitate individual and group activities to enhance educational experiences.
6. Collaborate with staff and professionals to meet students' needs.
7. Maintain records of student progress and behaviour.
8. Promote positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and stakeholders.
9. Contribute to the school community and engage in professional development.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Care Worker or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Passion for working with children and supporting their well-being.
3. Compassionate, patient, and able to build trust with students.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Sensitivity towards students with diverse needs.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
7. Willingness to undergo training or obtain certifications.
8. Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
