Physiotherapist – Functional Assessor
Location: Peterborough
Annual salary: £39,500 + excellent benefits
Hours of work: Full or part time available, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with hybrid working
Role overview: Conduct assessments (telephone, video, face-to-face) to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions affect daily life. Produce reports to assist DWP in determining benefit eligibility. Ensure quality and respectful service tailored to each individual.
Responsibilities include: Handling a variety of cases across conditions, managing caseloads efficiently, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high standards of service.
Candidate requirements:
* HCPC registered physiotherapist with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience
* Proactive with a willingness to learn
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
* Ability to work towards targets in a supportive environment
* Experience with diverse conditions, including mental health
