Due to continued growth, were recruiting a Finance Assistant on behalf of a well-established, family-owned business operating across the North of England.
This is a varied role at the heart of the finance and administration function, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. It will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on workload, takes pride in accuracy, and is keen to support and improve finance systems and processes. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.
Finance & Administration
* Performing bank, credit card, and supplier account reconciliations, ensuring accurate allocation of costs
* Recording, filing, and reporting financial transactions in line with internal procedures
* Maintaining customer and supplier accounts and supporting the sales ledger, including invoicing, credit control, and dispute resolution
* Reviewing financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies
* Reconciling payroll, timesheets, and employee data for accurate departmental and management reporting
* Assisting with budget preparation, asset registers, and reporting on work in progress
