We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced "Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) Teacher" to join a school in Manchester. If you're committed to delivering tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a PMLD Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with PMLD.
* Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
* Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and supportive learning environment.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and development.
* Contributing to the overall development and improvement of the school's PMLD provision.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* A minimum of one year's experience teaching PMLD students in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willing to apply for one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Proven experience working with the UK curriculum.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* A passion for supporting students with PMLD to reach their full potential.
* Experience working with diverse learning styles and needs.
