You’ll be joining a respected supported amodation service in Kingston and New Malden, delivered on behalf of a local authority. The service provides 24/7 housing and support for young people aged 16–25, including care leavers and unapanied asylum seekers, across two well‑established sites.
Your new role
As Deputy Supported Amodation Manager, you’ll support and deputise for the Service Manager, ensuring safe, high‑quality provision for young people withplex needs. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, lead on safeguarding when required, supervise Night Support Workers, manage rotas, respond to incidents and maintain strong professional relationships.
You’ll also support service continuity during planned refurbishment works. Your rota includes three late shifts (2pm–10pm, Mon to Wed), two early shifts (8am–4pm, Thurs&Fri) and participation in the on‑call manager rota.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with vulnerable young people in an Ofsted‑regulated settingLevel 3 qualification in a relevant disciplineStrong safeguarding knowledge and confidence making decisions on‑shift and on‑callExperience supervising staff and managing performanceExcellent organisational, administrative and time‑management skillsAbility to work early and late shifts and cover absencesStrongmunication skills and a solution‑focused approachConfident use of ICT (Google or Microsoft packages)
