Data Validation Manager - Remote - Permanent
Overview
Fuel Recruitment is working with a delivery-led organisation that is strengthening its governance and reporting capability across its Delivery function. They are looking for a Data Validation Manager to lead a newly formed team of Data Analysts and establish robust data governance, reporting and assurance frameworks.
This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate, consistent and trusted data is available to support operational performance, senior decision-making and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a newly established team of Data Analysts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across the Delivery department
* Define and implement data governance frameworks to maintain data quality, consistency and integrity across systems
* Oversee the development and ongoing management of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
* Standardise reporting processes, metrics and outputs across all Delivery workstreams
* Provide oversight of data validation processes to ensure reliability and confidence in reporting
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to define reporting requirements aligned to business needs
* Support audit and governance requirements through effective data management and reporting practices
* Drive continuous improvement across data processes, reporting capability and analytical insight
Key Skills / Experience
* Proven experience in a governance, reporting or data management role within a delivery or operational environment
* Experience leading or managing data or reporting teams
* Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality and controls
* Hands-on experience with Power BI and reporting/dashboard development
* Ability to standardise metrics and reporting across multiple workstreams
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders
* Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, assurance and continuous improvement
