About the Role
West Caithness Community Nursing team are offering the opportunity for an experienced District Nurse or equivalent qualifications, to hold a dynamic caseload of patients within a defined geographical area/neighbourhood.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and supervision to registered and non‑registered staff.
* Hold responsibilities and accountability for assessments, caseload management and patient‑centred care planning.
* Deliver advanced clinical assessment and act as a non‑medical prescriber to respond to changing health care needs and complexities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified District Nurse with the Specialist Practice Qualification.
* Non‑medical prescriber.
* Full, clean driving licence.
Compensation and Work Schedule
Part‑time permanent post of 28.8 hours per week.
Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00, 7 days per week including Public Holidays.
Salary: Annex 21 post paid at a percentage of fully qualified rate during training: Year 1 60 %, Year 2 65 %, Year 3 70 %, Year 4 75 %. Failure to complete training may lead to review of duties.
