We’re launching a brand-new, therapeutic children’s home, and we’re looking for a Registered Manager who’s ready to take the lead in shaping something special from day one.

*The Role:*
As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for all operational aspects of the home, ensuring children receive consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed care.
You’ll play a key role in establishing the home’s structure, policies, and practices, assisting with the development and implementation of infrastructure now and over time as the service grows.
Recruitment, onboarding, and developing a skilled, values-driven team will sit at the heart of your role, alongside fostering a positive, resilient culture where both young people and staff feel supported.
Through strong leadership, reflective practice, and a clear focus on quality assurance, you’ll drive continuous improvement. Whilst ensuring the home provides stability, safety, and real opportunities for children to thrive
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead the opening, registration, and ongoing management of a new children’s home
* Develop systems, processes, and practice aligned to regulations and therapeutic standards
* Recruit, onboard, and develop a skilled, motivated staff team
* Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for young people and staff
* Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and care planning to the highest standards
* Support children with complex needs using trauma-informed, relational approaches
* Embed strong quality assurance, ensuring continuous improvement across the home
* Build effective working relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
* Ensure the home remains Ofsted-ready and delivers positive inspection outcomes
* Lead with integrity, setting the tone for a culture of accountability, learning, and growth
*About You:*
* Proven leadership experience within a children’s residential setting
* Strong understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, and quality frameworks
* Confident supporting young people impacted by early life trauma and adversity
* Reflective, emotionally intelligent, and values-driven leadership style
* Committed to building strong teams and embedding a positive workplace culture
* Organised, resilient, and motivated by delivering real outcomes for children
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
