As a MongoDB Database Administrator, you will work in project teams designing, building, and maintaining MongoDB databases and infrastructure to provide strong business solutions. You will be involved in all stages, from design and build to supporting both non-production and production environments. We promote a learning culture at NBS, encouraging ongoing development and skill enhancement in relevant technologies. You will also have opportunities to join our communities to share ideas and collaborate with other engineers.

What you’ll be doing
You will work within delivery teams, collaborating to build optimal solutions using your technical leadership and SME knowledge. You will advise, build systems, troubleshoot, and provide guidance to less experienced engineers, ensuring solutions fit team objectives. On-call work may be required occasionally.
About you
You should have a proven track record in delivering MongoDB solutions, with in-depth knowledge and experience in:
* Linux operating system concepts
* Configuring/supporting MongoDB OpsManager for backups and deployments
* MongoDB architecture, replication, and sharding
* Working with JSON document structures, exporting and importing documents
* Troubleshooting and performance tuning within MongoDB
* Working across multiple projects and sharing expertise
* Building relationships with technical and business stakeholders
* Quickly learning new technologies
Knowledge and experience in at least three of the following areas are desirable:
* Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible)
* LDAP integration
* Red Hat OpenShift
* Kafka
* Network and infrastructure security
* Agile methodologies and Scrum
* Regulatory environments (PCI, GDPR)
* Working with third parties/suppliers
