CAD Technician Location: Slough Salary: Circa £32,500 Depending on Relevant Experience Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Work Location: Office Based Full Time / Permanent Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a busy engineering team working on a variety of technical and infrastructure-related projects. This role would suit a detail-oriented CAD professional with experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation who is looking to further develop their technical drawing skills within an engineering environment. CAD Technician Role: As a CAD Technician, you will support the production and modification of technical drawings across a range of engineering projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate, high-quality drawings are produced in line with project and company standards. The role offers exposure to varied engineering projects alongside ongoing technical development opportunities. CAD Technician Key Responsibilities: Assist with the creation and modification of CAD drawings. Support engineering teams with technical drawing updates and revisions. Ensure drawings comply with internal CAD standards and project requirements. Assist with project administration and document management tasks. Issue drawings and technical documentation where required. Work with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related software packages. Support multiple live engineering projects across the business. What They Are Looking For: Essential: Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong IT and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Desirable: AutoCAD Civil 3D experience would be advantageous. Engineering, CAD, Construction, or Technical qualification/background.
