The Hospitals Transformation Team supports the multi million pound investment to transform the way that Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital delivers services within the community in which it operates. The team is looking for a dynamic candidate to join us as a Programme Officer, to support and be part of this exiting era. We are seeking a candidate who has experience of programme monitoring and reporting against cost, quality and time. You will have extensive experience of using MS Project software, alongside experience of working within the delivery of a complex programme. You will be expected to liaise with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally and therefore must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to work on site for the majority of the week, although some agile working can be accommodated. (Please note the interviews will be held in person) Main duties of the job The Programme Officer will provide project management for the progression and implementation of the Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP), providing support and deputising for the PMO Programme Manager in the oversight and delivery of the associated projects within the Programme. The post holder will have the responsibility of supporting the Programme Management Office in the oversight and delivery of a multi-million-pound project / or several projects within the Hospitals Transformation Teams complex Programme of reconfiguration, from inception to completion.
