Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Health and Safety Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
The Health and Safety Manager, will be responsible for:
* Managing a regular audit and reporting program
* Act as a key Health & Safety point of contact
* Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure employees are competent regarding their HSE duties, including toolbox talks.
* Developing appropriate arrangements to ensure that risks from contractors are managed
* Undertaking investigations of site incidents and accidents that addresses circumstances, cause and consider improvements that could be made
* Manage and maintain the COSHH register
* Ensure all relevant site files are in place and up to date
* Manage and maintain the Noise and Vibration registers for all equipment
* Performance audits on permits
To be successful for this Health and Safety Manager role you must have:
* NEBOSH Certificate essential or equivalent level 3 qualification.
* Strong technical understanding in a manufacturing / construction environment
* Experience in delivery of QHSE
* Broad experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis .
