A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm. Paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely processing of invoices.
Manage accounts payable, including processing payments and reconciling statements.
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy.
Complete VAT returns.
Credit control
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software.
Administration duties when needed
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Bookkeeper position:
Previous experience in using Xero essential
Experience within the manufacturing and production industry is advantageous but not essential
Experience within a similar role essential
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised
