JBM is delighted to be adding to our experienced and committed Trainer/Assessor team. This post involves working with learners in Construction related qualifications to national occupational standards. Learning and Development experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants of particular interest will have experience in one of the following:
* Contracting
* Estimating and tendering
* Construction supervision/ management
* Road building and maintenance
*Plant Operations
Job purpose:
To ensure learners are given a quality developmental experience in undertaking work based learning. JBM is committed to lifelong learning in Scotland and prides itself on providing equal and fair access to development.
Responsibilities
* Ensure good working relationships with learners and client organisations
* Provide customer service and support beyond all benchmarks set
* Develop learning material required to assist learner progress tailored to their needs
* Attend regular team meetings
* Deliver short training courses (in-house or public) as required
* Follow sample plans while liaising with the Systems Data Manager & Training Co-ordinator
* Undertake standardisation activities
* Successfully complete funding administration which is meaningful and compliant
* Liaise with funding bodies when asked to do so
* Provide updates on learner progress to contracts and quality teams
* Meet individual KPIs and contribute to team KPIs
* To regularly review appropriate assessment strategies
* To follow policies and procedures that are in place to support the quality assurance process
* To attend standardisation events internal and external to JB Management
* To follow Assessment and Verification policies
* To share and develop best practice
* To attend External Verification events as required
