An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Locum Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Tayside. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic team player that has a special interest and recognised expertise in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
You will join a cohesive group of 13 Cardiology consultants (whole time equivalent) within Tayside which includes six interventional, seven non-interventional and three Academic Cardiologists. Tayside Cardiology provides a full range of invasive and non-invasive services including elective and emergency PCI, cardiac imaging, permanent pacemaker and complex device implantation and radiofrequency ablation. This appointment will support the provision of a Tayside-wide regional cardiology service. You will join the established Tayside interventional on-call rota (which will be 1:6) which provides 24/7 Primary Angioplasty to the population of Tayside and North Fife.
Candidates should possess MRCP and be on the GMC Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR (CP) at the time of interview for the post.
