Electrician – Location: HMP Winchester, Romsey Rd, Winchester. SO22 5DF
Salary: £38,333.37 Plus £1,000 RRA
Contract: Permanent - Full Time - 39hrs per week - Mon-Fri
Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Winchester, a Adult Male Prison. As an Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues across trades, contributing to safe and secure environments and to the smooth operation of the facility.

As an Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues across Plumbers, other Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators, and others dedicated to making a difference and providing a safe environment for all.
Qualifications
* certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
* Two years’ experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
