Job Title: Primary School Teacher Assistant - Year 3
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Hourly Rate: £12.90 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a lovely primary school in Cardiff as a Teaching Assistant to provide general support for a Year 3 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the class teacher with various tasks, including preparing and organising educational materials
Assisting with classroom management to create a safe and engaging learning environment for students
Providing one-to-one support for students who may require additional help with their learning
Assisting with marking and assessing students' work under the direction of the class teacher
Working collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably with primary school-aged children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting students' learning and development
A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the classroom
An enhance child workforce DBS (or willing to apply for one)
A registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
24 months of references
This is a temporary, ongoing full time position that will start once vetting checks have been completed. The hourly rate for this role is £12.90 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
