Teacher – Adult Community Learning Information Technology Are you looking for your next challenge and an opportunity to improve the life chances of our learners as a Teacher in Adult Community Learning (information technology). Here’s the standard bit: You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in college or at community delivery sites and devise assessment processes against progress targets. What you’ll need : - Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, you must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent) and experience of teaching information technology and digital skills to adult learners both accredited and non-accredited courses including beginners. The ability to devise and deliver learning opportunities to meet group and individual needs and demonstrate experience of teaching using a range of teaching and learning methods that engenders an enthusiasm for learning in a variety of settings in college and at community locations is essential. Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
