The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for generating and developing sales for the company’s portfolio of specialist access equipment for the rail and aviation markets across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities across target sectors
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts
* Conduct customer visits and build strong relationships
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders
* Respond to sales enquiries and customer requirements
* Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and presentations
* Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting information
* Liaise with engineering and production teams on customer projects
* Support the achievement of sales and profit targets
About You
* Proven experience in technical sales or business development
* Background within engineering, manufacturing, aviation, rail, or industrial sectors
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Comfortable managing customer visits and presentations
* Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities
* Self-motivated and organised with good reporting skills
