A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Turner to join our client’s thriving team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-quality, deadline-driven environment and has a strong background in CNC machining.

Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture components to exact specifications
* Interpret engineering drawings and machine programs (ISO and conversational)
* Conduct first-off inspections to ensure product quality
* Adjust offsets and tool coordinates to maintain precision
* Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition
* Rotate between machines when required, supporting wider production
* Ensure on-time delivery and maintain high standards throughout production
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
* Proven experience working with CNC machinery
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
* Familiarity with various machine control systems
* Ability to predict and prevent machining issues during production
* Detail-focused with a commitment to accuracy and quality
* Comfortable working to production deadlines without compromising standards
* IT skills including basic knowledge of Windows and MS Office
* Completion of a relevant craft apprenticeship and at least 5 years’ machining experience
* Further education or certification in an engineering/manufacturing field
