Role : History & Heritage Internship Duration : 10-11 months Department : Stadium Experience & Fan Engagement Location : STōK Cae Ras Stadium, Wrexham The Role Wrexham AFC, one of the world’s oldest football clubs, offers an internship in sports heritage, research, and storytelling. The History & Heritage Intern will assist the Club Historian in preserving and sharing the club’s history. Main Responsibilities: Assist with organising and cataloguing historical club materials Help record and document memorabilia, photographs, and historical records Research key moments, players, matches, and seasons in club history Assist with responding to historical enquiries Help prepare historical content for matchday programmes or club platforms Help collect stories and memories from supporters, former players, and staff Support projects that capture the social and cultural history of the club About you You'll have: Have a strong interest in history and heritage Be organised, detail-focused and have good research and writing skills Have an interest in football, sport, or community heritage Candidate Profile This internship would suit students studying History, Heritage Studies, Cultural Studies or Public History.
