We are looking for a flexible, self-motivated individual who has good organisation and negotiating skills to join the Corporate Property and Land Service. With a large, varied estate spread throughout County Durham and ambitious regeneration schemes underway, now is an exciting time to join us and be part of this delivery. WHAT IS INVOLVED? You will be a member of a team responsible for ensuring pro-active management of the Council’s estate, including the provision of an effective valuation service, activity aimed at ensuring the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate and for identifying opportunities for rationalisation and/or disposal. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent providing a foundation for membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent appropriate professional body. You should have specialist knowledge of property and property processes and an awareness of estate management principles. Please refer to the attached Person Specification for the full criteria.
