Roles & Responsibilities - Key tasks
* Work as a field-based engineer across the UK with occasional international travel.
* Service, maintain, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and lightweight CNC machines used across various industries.
* Operate across multiple sectors including automotive and aerospace.
* Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
* Compile and record detailed measurement data to support customer quality and inspection needs.
* Support customers with troubleshooting, fault-finding, and issue resolution.
* Occasionally work away from home due to the mobile nature of the role.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer care is paramount.
* Communicate with stakeholders on any potential impacts for the business
* Uphold the company quality strategy and processes, including recommendations and operational improvements to improve quality & service.
