Machine Operative – Permanent
£14 – £16 per hour + overtime
Mid-Kent (driving essential due to location)
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (day shifts)

We’re looking for a hands-on Machine Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business. You’ll be working with high-value equipment, so we need someone who can show real attention to detail, carefulness and integrity in their work.
This is a role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, can be trusted to get on with the job, and takes pride in producing quality results.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Operating and monitoring machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production
2. Carrying out basic maintenance and keeping equipment in excellent working order
3. Following instructions accurately and keeping to production schedules
4. Checking quality standards and flagging any issues
5. Supporting stock checks and ensuring a safe, tidy working environment
What we’re looking for:
6. Previous experience with machine operation (not necessarily print – full training provided)
7. Strong attention to detail and care in your work
8. A proactive and trustworthy approach – happy to work alone when needed
9. A full UK driving licence and your own transport (location is not accessible by public transport)
10. Flexibility to take on more hours during peak times
What’s on offer:
11. £14 – £16 per hour (depending on experience)
12. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
13. Overtime available at your standard hourly rate
