At the NEC Group our catering division operates at venues and events in Birmingham and beyond including the NEC, the ICC, BP Pulse Live, the Vox Conference Centre and Arena Birmingham.
We have great opportunities available to join us and the animals at Dudley Zoological Gardens in our back of house team as a Food Preparation Assistant. You must have a flexible approach as hours can vary each week depending on the nature and volume of the business, hours will include weekends, bank holiday and evenings.
The moment you walk into our venue you’ll feel a fun, roaringly friendly vibe created by people who genuinely enjoy the work they do and the enthusiasm we share through our teams. We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals to join our team on a Casual hour contract basis. Previous experience is an advantage, but full training will be given.

What You’ll Do
We offer a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
* Preparation of sandwiches, cold food items and salads for all outlets across site.
* Preparation of hot food items for all outlets across site.
* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
