Cambian Whinfell Shap Road Home is probably one of the best residential care homes of its type in the county.
Located in the picturesque town of Kendal it provides exceptional care and support for young adults with Learning Disabilities and or challenges within the autistic spectrum.
The home is a registered 4-bedroom house for young adults and they are closely supported to live as independent a life as possible and be a big part of the local community.

You may have the skills to support our young adults in their activities to raise money for charities such as our local homeless shelter or to help them prepare for a more independent life by arranging personalised activities and social events for them.

What we need from you? Successful applicants for this role of Team Leader must be qualified to an NVQ Level 3 standard.
They will be part of a large supportive care team who work holistically across Care, Education and Therapeutic services supporting each other's practice to deliver specialist residential educational services to those with additional and complex needs; including Autism & Asperger's.

· Due to the nature of this role we do require you to hold a full UK driving licence so that you have the ability to drive our work vehicles.
