We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) for our public sector client based in Newcastle on an initial 11-month contract paying up to £650 per day inside IR35.
This role offers hybrid working with approximately 3 days per week on-site attendance expected.
You may work from Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Blackpool.
The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be a hands-on engineer with a genuine NetDevOps mindset. You will be expected to contribute to design and delivery work quickly, bringing real engineering depth across enterprise networking, firewall technologies, data centre architecture and automation.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
1. Designing and implementing complex enterprise network infrastructure across data centre, hybrid and cloud environments
2. OSPF and BGP environments, with strong understanding of enterprise and cloud network patterns
3. Palo Alto firewalls across data centre and cloud, including Zero Trust and secure network design principles
