The successful candidate will: Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, providing high-quality teaching for a class (year group to be confirmed). Deliver an engaging, broad, and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum. Demonstrate a secure understanding of age-appropriate teaching and learning strategies, including effective differentiation and assessment for learning. Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role, inspiring pupils to achieve their best. Have excellent organisational, communication, and behaviour management skills. Take responsibility for the pastoral care, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils in their class. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported. Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development in line with the school s values and policies. Monitor pupils academic progress, attendance, and wellbeing, taking appropriate action and seeking support where necessary. Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, communicating effectively about progress and concerns. Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support pupils learning and development. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, events, and extracurricular activities. Maintain accurate records and complete required assessments, reports, and documentation in a timely manner.
