Due to continued growth and an increased spend in the Water sector, our client is keen to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their driven commercial team. For over 20 years, our client has delivered projects like new pipelines and network maintenance, as well as the construction and upgrades of pumping stations and treatment facilities across Bristol and the surrounding counties. Their approach emphasises collaboration and early contractor involvement to ensure reliable water distribution. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: * Have experience of applications and CVR’s. * Prepare forecasts / reports; cost, profit / loss, value etc. * Manage subcontract enquiries and prepare contracts. * Be responsible for minimising cost and maximising value, ensuring controls are in place to manage and monitor the operating cost base. * Assisting with Risk and Value Management to optimise solution and regularly review with the project team. * Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar. * Have experience working for a Civil Engineering contractor. * Have excellent communication skills. * Be experienced with commercially delivering multi-million-pound schemes. * Have a good knowledge of NEC suite of contracts.
