40 hours per weekMonday - Friday (0800 - 1630)£42,000 - £47,000 per annumSodexo rewards and benefitsJob IntroductionWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take full operational responsibility for Soft Facilities Management across HMRC CardiffsiteYou will oversee service delivery within a Total FM contract, ensuring all services are delivered safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively. While your primary focus will be Soft FM, you will maintain a strong working knowledge of Technical Services to support the Hard FM team effectively.What you'll do:Manage day-to-day Soft FM operations across the Cardiff clusterEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, SOPs, and statutory requirementsOversee budgets, costs, and financial controlsMaintain consistent service delivery standards across all sitesLead audits and ensure the site remains inspection-readySupport and collaborate with operational teams and stakeholdersEnsure services are fully resourced and meet contractual KPIsCoach, mentor, and develop team membersBuild strong client relationships and represent the business professionallyIdentify opportunities for service improvement and innovationEnsure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance recordsManage incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actionsWhat you bring:EssentialProven experience in Facilities Management (ideally across both Soft and Hard FM services)Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teamsExperience managing teams in a multi-site environmentFinancial awareness with experience managing budgetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsDesirableNEBOSH qualificationAuthorising Person (relevant discipline)Risk Assessment certificationISO Internal Auditor qualificationStrong Hard FM experienceWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
