We are looking for an equally passionate Assistant Chef to join the team and help deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Use passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied and nutritional menus in line with residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
* Put forward ideas to deliver an excellent dining experience, helping residents to feel at home.
* Train and manage the kitchen team in prepping, cooking and serving of food.
* Adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and manage orders and deliveries.
* Cater for special events or seasonal activities (e.g., summer fetes, Christmas parties, birthdays) as required.
Qualifications
* Passion for cooking with experience in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
* Aim to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal and make residents feel at home.
* Open to new ideas with an innovative approach to cooking while maintaining high standards.
* Enjoy communicating with others and cherish the moments with residents, sharing a love of food.
