The Role:
My mainstream client, located a short commute from Gloucester, is actively seeking a knowledgeable and motivational Tutor of English to join their team ASAP on a full-time fixed-term contract basis until June 2025. The successful English Tutor will have a genuine desire to guide and elevate their students’ success. You will be crucial in guiding smaller groups of students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in preparation for their GCSE English exams. You will work alongside students of various ages and abilities to support their success in this core subject.
The School:
You will be joining a well-known school with a long history of academic success. This role offers an excellent opportunity for ECTs starting their careers in education to gain classroom experience in a smaller environment than a traditional classroom setting. Applications from unqualified teachers are welcome; however, experience in GCSE teaching/tutoring and exam preparation is required. The successful English Tutor can expect a salary on the Main Pay Scale point 1 (£31,650) or Unqualified Pay Scale point 10 (£31,543), depending on qualifications.
