Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll professional to join their busy team on a permanent basis Duties include; Manage end-to-end monthly payroll and pensions on a high-volume basis Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, and benefits Review and approve payroll reports before final submission Ensure compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and regulations Prepare and submit statutory filings (e.g., HMRC in the UK) Maintain accurate records for audits and internal reviews Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity Implement system upgrades or transitions when needed Respond to payroll-related queries from employees Provide guidance on payslips, tax codes, and deductions Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll perspective Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes Develop and document standard operating procedures Train junior payroll staff or HR team members Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to payroll Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, system integrations) Dealing with complex queries effectively Assessing historical data and rectifying errors You will have; Payroll software proficiency and worked with an integrated system previously Data accuracy and reconciliation experience Advanced Excel skills - lo...
