Junior .NET Core Engineer
Location: Warrington (onsite)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000
Overview
My client is a well-established technology-led business looking to grow its in-house development team. They’re now hiring a Junior .NET Core Engineer who’s eager to build on their existing commercial experience and develop their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
This role will suit someone with around a year’s experience in software development who wants to deepen their knowledge of modern .NET, learn from experienced engineers, and get exposure to full-stack projects.
What you’ll be doing
* Build and maintain web applications using C# and .NET Core
* Write clean, efficient, and testable code
* Support integration with SQL databases
* Collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to team discussions
* Learn and contribute across the stack, including exposure to React and front-end development
Tech stack
* C#, .NET Core
* SQL Server
* React (or similar modern JavaScript framework)
* Azure DevOps and CI/CD exposure is a bonus
Who we’re looking for
* Around 1+ year of commercial experience in software development
* Strong foundation in C# and .NET Core
* Understanding of SQL and relational databases
* Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and improving your skills
* Strong communicator and team player
