Maintenance Plumber
Location: West Sussex & Surrey
Salary: Up to £50k - dependent on experience and competencies
Type: Permanent
The Maintenance Plumber will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance across residential properties within a residential / commercial property environment. The role involves diagnosing faults, completing repairs to a high standard, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities may include
* Carry out day-to-day plumbing maintenance and repairs in residential properties/commercial properties

Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults including leaks, blockages, system failures and HVAC
*
Install, repair, and maintain pipework, sanitary ware, taps, valves, and drainage systems
*
Work on hot and cold water systems, waste systems, and domestic plumbing installations
*
Complete post-handover snagging and defect works where required
*
Ensure all works comply with current building regulations and health & safety standards
*
Accurately complete job reports, worksheets, and updates via handheld or paper systems
*
Liaise professionally with residents, customer care teams, and site management
*
Identify and report additional works or potential issues
*
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
Essential:
*
Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber or Plumbing Engineer
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*
Good communication skills when dealing with residents and colleagues
*
Full UK driving licence
* Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
