An opportunity has arisen for reception staff within the Emergency Department, Belford Hospital, Fort William. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our team.

The role covers both the Emergency Department & Minor Injury Unit. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake a range of administrative duties including the use of specialist systems, dealing with patient and relative enquiries, and updating the department’s information system.

Previous experience in a similar environment would be desirable.

The post is 29 hours per week and is a mixture of days, nights and weekends.

Additional Information For Candidates

* Effective from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
