Job Description:
Join a fast-growing, multinational company undergoing an exciting growth phase with significant investments in systems and technology. As a Health & Safety Manager, you will lead all health and safety activities on site and report to a Head of Safety overseeing European sites.
1. Build strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce, offering guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
2. Embed a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
3. Operate with professionalism and integrity, providing independent expert advice to management on health and safety.
4. Develop positive relationships with trade union representatives, ensuring regular meetings to review safety standards.
5. Lead the site Health and Safety Committee, promoting effective communication and shared responsibilities.
6. Coordinate with the wider safety function and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
7. Liaise with external organizations such as regulatory bodies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and improve safety performance.
The salary is circa £50K+ with bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Full details will be discussed upon application.
