Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements.
3. Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and polishing.
4. Assemble and fit metal components to create finished products.
5. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
6. Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet required standards.
7. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment.
8. Assist with heavy lifting when required.
9. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
10. Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, ideally within the automotive or engineering industry.
11. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
12. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
13. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
14. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
15. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
16. Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting tasks.
17. Familiarity with gas products and electrical welding equipment.
