Homeless Support Service Team Leader
Location: Ashkirk Homeless Unit, Sunderland
Salary: £31,037 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37 hrs per week, Monday to Saturday
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 5PM on Friday 19th September
We are seeking an enthusiastic leader and experienced housing professional to join our Homelessness Service delivering excellent housing related support services to families at risk of homelessness.

About the Homeless Support Service Team Leader role
This post offers an opportunity for an enthusiastic leader and experienced housing professional to oversee the delivery of excellent, consistent and responsive housing services to families at risk of homelessness.
Responsibilities include leading, inspiring and engaging a team of support workers to deliver customer and housing services, with robust performance management and motivation of others. You will have a strong track record in housing management practice and safeguarding.
Your Experience
Successful candidates will need:
Essential
* Full current driving licence and access to a car for business use
* Good standard of general education
* Experience of leading, managing and supporting a team
* Demonstratable experience of safeguarding practice
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Desirable
* Demonstratable experience of working in a housing related support service
* Advanced IT skills
