Location: Locala; Band 6 - £38,682 - £46,580; Flexible hours up to 29 per week; Permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Support provision and delivery of clinical education and development activities for our clinical workforce (nurses, allied health professionals, visiting students and learners) in a range of practice settings.
* Develop and maintain high quality education, learning and development to meet Locala standards; champion clinical career pathways and advocate for clinical colleagues and students.
* Facilitate the delivery of approved programmes to support new and existing clinical colleagues; support development and delivery of clinical education for nursing and allied health professional learners on placement in Locala.
* Act as a proactive role model for supervision of learners; monitor and ensure full use of available placement capacity to support learners across Locala.
* Report to the Professional Development Support Clinical Lead and work with the Professional Development Support Team to support provision and delivery of clinical education.
Requirements
* HCPC registered Allied Health Professional is required.
* Strong, effective communication and interpersonal skills; experience of leadership and a drive for innovation and improvement.
* Interest in facilitation and supporting a workforce delivering excellent clinical care and learner progression.
* Willingness to develop skills in facilitating training using a range of formats (including face to face and online).
