The Interiors House was founded by Benedetta Dall'Olio and Matteo Carrara in London in 2015. Our mission is to transform clients' design ideas into luxurious realities. With our own factory in Italy specialising in joinery and collaborations with specialist workshops for lighting, upholstery, and other types of furniture, we deliver exceptional and unique pieces. Having completed over 500 projects, we cater to a range of styles from classical to modern and Art Deco, offering extremely fast lead times.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Finishes & Project Coordinator to support the delivery of multiple projects from concept through to installation.
This is a central, fast-paced role that sits between clients, project managers, production, suppliers, and site teams - ensuring that finishes, materials, and orders are coordinated accurately and on time.
You will be the key point of contact for clients regarding finishes and samples, while also managing procurement processes and supporting the wider studio and project delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Finishes Coordination
* Act as the main point of contact for clients on all finishes and material selections
* Liaise with clients and the internal design/project teams to gather and confirm requirements
* Coordinate with production in Italy to ensure accurate technical and material information
* Organise and manage the ordering and tracking of samples
Procurement & Supplier Management
* Place orders for fabrics, finishes, and joinery-related materials
* Assist project managers with obtaining and compiling quotes
* Source new suppliers and maintain strong existing relationships
* Track lead times and ensure timely delivery in line with project programmes
Project & Studio Support
* Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth workflow and communication
* Maintain and update schedules, procurement trackers, and material logs
* Assist in resolving day-to-day project coordination challenges
Site Coordination & Snagging
* Act as a key point of contact for site teams
* Compile and manage snagging lists
* Ensure accurate information is collected from site and distributed to the relevant teams
* Carry out site visits/inspections
Skills & Experience
* Understanding of materials and finishes, ideally within bespoke joinery, interiors, or furniture
* Experience in a coordination, design assistant, FF&E, or procurement-based role
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in standard project and documentation tools (e.g. Excel,, GSuite)
