Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe
Holt Executive is partnering with Marlink to support a critical Senior Sales Manager hire for their Maritime Business Unit.

Your Mission
The Senior Sales Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales, will be a self-motivated, service-driven professional. They will cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients within the Maritime & Shipping sectors in the region.
The role involves setting strategic direction, achieving sales targets, exploring new opportunities in regions with limited visibility and resources, and enhancing Marlink's overall market position.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with existing and new customers in the region, understanding their needs and identifying sales opportunities for Marlink.
* Achieve profitable growth by increasing market share and revenue, and establishing go-to-market strategies for the region.
* Develop an annual regional sales strategy to support growth initiatives.
* Increase brand awareness and positioning within the region.
* Support the development of the Marlink Product Portfolio based on customer feedback.
* Communicate persuasively at all organizational levels, up to C-level.
* Report on activities, market needs, and trends to the VP of Sales Europe North.
* Engage with strategy and marketing teams to understand market dynamics and develop engagement strategies, including events and tradeshows.
Key Experience and Knowledge:
* Experience selling telecommunications, IT managed services, technology, or security solutions.
* Strong understanding of selling integrated, managed solutions based on value.
* 8-10 years of successful experience in services-based selling.
* Proven success in closing complex deals.
* Experience with modern selling concepts (as-a-Service) and aligning solutions with company objectives.
* Independent worker with excellent time management and attention to detail.
