Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Nelson & Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for a range of established general haulage clients in Nelson and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking flexible, ongoing work covering holiday, sickness, and peak-period demand, with competitive pay and weekly wages.

The Role:
* Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for general haulage work
* Ad-hoc shifts covering holidays, sickness, and busy periods
* Day shifts, typically starting between 05:00-07:00 (occasional trunking or local deliveries)
* Conducting daily vehicle checks, ensuring load security, and completing all delivery paperwork
* Representing both the client and agency professionally at all times

Pay & Hours:
* £15.50 per hour (PAYE)
* Minimum 8 hours pay per shift guaranteed
* Day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be available)
* Weekly pay and full support from our transport team

Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience (general haulage preferred)
* No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)
* Professional, flexible, and reliable attitude
