We employ Personal Assistants for people with long-term complex disabilities and conditions. This service provides unique and bespoke packages of care to people with a high level of need living in their own homes. We currently have clients in Stockport, Tameside & surrounding areas needing various levels of support in their own homes. Candidates we are looking for: Preferred but not essential - (training and support includes): • Confidence supporting with complex clinical tasks. • Tracheostomy care and management. • Ventilator support • Cough assist • Suctioning • Nebulisers • Oxygen therapy • Catheter care and management • Colostomy care and management • Moving & Handling of people. • Enteral feeding (PEG). • Previous experience working in health and social care. • Health and social care-based qualifications (e.g. care certificate, NVQ, Diploma etc). Essential: • Colleagues need to be able communicate effectively. • Colleagues need to work on a rota basis which will require flexibility including weekend working. • Colleagues need to be reliable and committed to their packages of care. • Must be willing to attend mandatory client specific training. • Colleagues need to have a full, clean UK driving licence and ability to drive client cars. • A DBS will be applied for prior to starting the position and covid vaccinations are preferred.
