Please note this a contract role for a 6 month contract. \nResponsibilities \n\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and define safety requirements for various automotive components and systems \nPerforming safety assessments throughout the development lifecycle, from concept to production, to identify potential safety issues and drive risk mitigation strategies. \nEvaluating and selecting appropriate safety mechanisms and technologies to enhance the safety performance of our vehicles. \nEnsuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.) and guiding the team through the certification process \nSupply chain management \nSupport to electrical and electronic projects and technology development \nProvide the necessary technical direction to ensure that technology plans are future proofed to support NPI process framework, World Class Quality (WCQ) objectives, and continued ISO9001\/ IATF16949 compliance \nDrive continuous improvement across all associated aspects of the Quality Engineering process \nRepresent the business externally, publishing relevant technical papers, and presenting global best practice on behalf of the business in appropriate global industry forums \nThis role will require significant interface with various stakeholders and may require a level of travel internationally \nThe role will involve building relationships, knowledge sharing and pursue and development of mutually beneficial technical collaborative opportunities. \n \n What you bring along: \n \n\nDegree qualified or comparable experience \n \n\nExperience of product development activities for safety critical systems, such as Advanced Driver Assistance \n \n\nExperience of working with automotive safety standards and management systems, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508 \n \n\nExperience of safety analysis at a system level, such as safety concepts, hazard analysis, risk assessments, FMEA, FTA etc \n \n \n What we offer: \nAn interesting and varied role with an expanding international company, recognised for its industry expertise \nCompany culture supporting teamwork and creativity \n \n Contact: \n Anne-Katrin Kloth\n Tel.: 44 1268 564-300\n Contact: \n Anne-Katrin Kloth\n Tel.: 44 1268 564-300
