Sulis Hospital Bath is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed PALS & Complaints Officer to join their Quality & Assurance team. The department is busy with frequently changing priorities and values strong teamwork, supporting each other to ensure the best service and outcomes for patients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), organization, and time management skills, along with a proactive approach to supporting positive patient experiences and service improvements. The role requires working under pressure, using initiative and experience to respond to complaints effectively, timely, and professionally.
The post-holder will manage a caseload of complaints and patient feedback from receipt to resolution, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with national and local procedures and guidelines. They will support senior staff and departments in conducting thorough investigations and provide guidance and training to staff on the Complaints Policy and Procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for producing accurate documents, reports, and correspondence. Previous experience in a healthcare environment and knowledge of NHS PALS & complaints procedures are desirable.
