We are currently seeking applications for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to fill the following posts to help supplement our core Childcare Team:-
CHILDCARE SESSIONAL WORKERS
The rate of pay for these posts is an hourly rate for the relevant age group plus holiday pay or higher if experienced/qualified.
Up to £14.11/hour inclusive of holiday pay (depending on age/qualification/experience)
Childcare Sessional Workers are required to assist in the efficient and effective delivery of the organisation's childcare services. Settings across the city include one full day care nursery, six out of school clubs and 3 breakfast clubs.
Specific hours are not guaranteed and vary from short sessions to full time hours dependent on the needs of the organisation. Shifts are also dependent upon the individual's availability as well as the organisations. At present we have varied shifts available to cover core staff holidays and absences.
The ideal applicants for these posts would be individuals who have had previous experience of working with children. However, we welcome applications from those wishing to enter into the childcare field to gain experience to develop their career further.
Please note that all applicants for this post must be eligible to:-
* Register at Support Worker level with the Scottish Social Services Council.
* Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
* Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this.
