Disability Assessor – Hybrid / Home-Based

Salary: £43,000–£47,500
Additional Earnings:
5% incentive bonus after training
Up to 10% quality and performance bonus
£1,000 salary increase at 6 and 12 months Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
No evenings, weekends, or nights
The Opportunity
We’re recruiting qualified healthcare professionals to become Disability Assessors, carrying out meaningful work that helps people access the support they need. This role offers a balanced mix of homeworking and local assessments, giving you both flexibility and security.
What You’ll Do
Complete 3–5 functional assessments per day
Review medical evidence and claimant questionnaires
Produce clear, structured, evidence-based reports for the DWP
Use your clinical expertise in a non-treatment, assessment-focused role Training & Support You’ll receive a fully paid 12-week training programme, including:
Assessment models and best practice
DWP guidelines and standards
Professional report-writing skills
Ongoing coaching and clinical support once you’re live in role Benefits Package

Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in an adult setting
Valid NMC or HCPC registration
Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills
Confident in IT and typing
