Now is a great time to join the Finance Department in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the team as a Senior Finance Officer in a Management Accounting and Business Partnering team.
The Senior Finance Officer role is varied and interesting, including undertaking financial performance monitoring, budget setting, forecasting, and providing timely financial advice for the allocated services.
The vacancy is within the Unscheduled Care Group. The successful candidate will work within the Integrated Medicine Directorate, gaining autonomy over specific areas with support from the Finance Manager.

This role offers a wide-ranging and fast-paced environment, providing new experiences and opportunities to develop financial management skills. The role involves close liaison with, and assistance to, Line Managers, Clinical Service Group Managers, and other budget holders within allocated services, adhering to statutory, UHB procedures, and legal requirements.
The position is permanent and full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, following a hybrid model of home and office working. The finance offices are located at Dewi Sant Hospital in Pontypridd. Meetings with colleagues, both virtual and in person, will be scheduled, with face-to-face meetings potentially at various sites across the Health Board footprint.
